Hi Ho... It's Off To Work We Go
Out of the ground we emerge from the train to walk nine blocks to the tallest building in Seattle, Columbia Tower (the big black one!) that overlooks Qwest Field.
We somewhat feel like we are in Manhattan... trains, crowds, public transportation systems.
Our first six days in Seattle (Nov 1-6) represented the worst rain storm that the Seattle area has had in a decade. That is saying something considering it always rains in Seattle. Rivers are cresting and traffic is out of control, so we will take the train right into downtown and walk to work. This was our first day and the train is about 40 minutes (same as a commute from Dallas to Fort Worth). We get more done as we can internet on the way instead of break and go traffic!
